I am a strong believer in rescue. In all areas. If you can not adopt one, please consider trying to sign on as a Foster Home, Special volunteer or even consider making a donation of money, food, collars, leashes, dog dishes, crates etc. People can help in so many areas they are too extensive to list. I have provided some links to Rescue sites. Please, take a look and if you are considering getting an Australian Shepherd perhaps there is a furry face you like?
Kona, 2 year old neutered black tri male. UTD all vaccs and microchipped. Kona is a very nice dog, he was handed over due to owner not being well. He likes all dogs, is very playful. He is crate trained, kennel run trained, knows basic obedience. Kona shows no real instinct in stock and in fact is very good around all types. Kona is a VERY active dog, and really needs to be with his person. When out of sight he sniffs them out and frets until he finds them. In his last home, Kona was known to wander so will need very secure fencing. Kona will only go to a very active home, and hopefully one with kids as he adores them......;o)
